After cheating on his wife, Juarez is facing a court fight over the custody of their son. The presiding Judge in the case is a rabid fan of one of the teams in the upcoming match that Juarez will ref.

With no money to hang on to his apartment, Juarez moves in with his mother and ends up sharing the house with her boyfriend.

Juarez referees a decisive match for his favorite team, but everything goes to pieces in one great big comedy of errors. Then he finds out about the romance between his ex and Rui.

Vittoria de Matta, the new lineswoman, is introduced to Juarez and Carvalhosa. They all travel to Venezuela for a Libertadores match and Juarez ends up in bed with her.

Flunked by the Confederation, Juarez referees a company game to pay his child support. To pass the second physical exam, he tries steroids.

Juarez referees a match between Playboy Bunnies and gradually starts winning back his ex. Then Manuela catches Juarez with Vitória, who is invited to pose nude for Playboy.

Juarez referees a match with an electronic hearing aid to get commentary from Vitória but blows an important call when he hears someone putting a move on her.

Juarez sets up a lunch meeting with Caponero but remembers that there's a soccer match at Vini's school. Then an incident places the Ref in an awkward situation professionally.

Rosali invites Juarez and Manu to be witnesses at her wedding. Juarez is kidnapped by a fan enraged at a bad call he made a long time ago.

Rosali and Guzmán get married, with Juarez and Manu as witnesses. Vitória starts a romance with Caponero. Juarez threatens to reveal the affair to the press unless he gets his job back.

Assigned to referee the final match of the Libertadores, Juarez is surprised when Manu and his son show up as guests of the owner of one of the teams about to play.

Zarkhov tries to bribe Juarez to throw the match, and Manu says if he accepts the bribe, she's leaving him. The game is a cliffhanger and changes the lives of Juarez and Manu.
