Louise is starting a new phase in her life with a new flat and with her mother away in Greece. Things look even better when an attractive, unattached man appears on the scene.

Louise is feeling low and Carla has the perfect solution - shopping as therapy. Unfortunately, Mike's girlfriend, Sarah, is down for the weekend and attaches herself to the expedition.

Marriage is still a forbidden subject as far as Carla is concerned, but that doesn't stop her trying to throw Louise and Mike together.

Dave is fed up with Carla avoiding the subject of marriage and decides to look up an old friend and Louise has three blind dates in one evening.

Mike is treating Sarah to a weekend in a smart hotel and Carla, Dave and Louise have decided to wreck the weekend of romantic fun.

Mike is now Louise's lodger and they both insist that romance is not on the cards.

Louise and Mike are now an item and she can't wait to tell Carla, but Carla's having to deal with her feelings for Mike.

Louise and Carla's friendship is at its lowest point. Louise is angry at the way Carla has betrayed both Dave and her.
