Liz Shannon Miller

The lack of point of view revealed by "The Bunker" speaks to why the show has never been able to find real depth within the surface beauty of its production. It's a show to admire. It's too bad it doesn't really have much to say.

Yes, Documentary Now! gives Armisen and Hader the chance to play the same oddballs they used to play on SNL, but in a more extended, nuanced manner.

The show's stars, Fred Armisen and Bill Hader, elevate every episode with their performances, but it's a comedy that wrings laughs mostly with its rigorous attention to detail.
