Six people are killed in very luxurious brothel De Limbo. Helena De Ridder, together with Zohra El Zarkaoui and new examining magistrate Pieter-Jan Aelbrecht, try to find whoever is behind it. Every victim, client or prostitute, has his own story. Behind every dead person there seems a possible motive for murder. After a long night of meticulous work, a first important trail comes to light.

Bracke has a collision with the new examining magistrate. Now Helena is between two fires. On top of that, Ravenakkers is making Helena's life difficult again and an accidental meeting with an old acquaintance leaves her confused.
