Bjørn and Karla have moved to Klitmøller to get some peace and quiet while they try to get pregnant. But it's not that easy, and their sex life begins to suffer under the pressure. So when Bjørn's best friend, Mads-Emil, and his girlfriend, Simone, come to visit with all their new-in-love wildness, it sets things in motion. Is there something wrong with him when he can't make Karla come, and could a change of partner be the answer to all his problems? All the while, Mads-Emil frantically tries to keep his past with Karla and local surfer babe Chloe a secret from ...

The day has come when Bjørn will present the idea of the change of partner to Simone. He has planned it all and is taking Mads-Emil out with him to shop for the big night. Meanwhile, Simone is out taking pictures of Chloe, which worries Mads-Emil. Does Chloe ever intend to reveal how she and Mads-Emil know each other?

After a visit to Karla's doctor father, Mikael, it is decided that Bjørn must submit a sperm sample; they have to find out if he is the reason why Karla is not pregnant yet. But Bjørn does not want to masturbate in hospital. In general, he thinks that their sex life lacks a bit of party and colour. While Bjørn and Karla try to get things going, Mads-Emil tries to reconcile with Simone after the fondue evening. With Bjørn's help, he gets an idea for a big romantic gesture.

Simone has moved up to the food bar while she considers what will happen to her and Mads-Emil. After trying almost everything, Mads-Emil persuades Karla to try to talk to Simone while he and Bjørn look after the surf shop. However, Karla quickly realizes that it takes more than talk to open Simone up. Fortunately, she knows someone down at the harbor who might be able to help her.

It's the day after the partner change. Mads-Emil tries to get Karla to take an anti-repentance pill, but she refuses. Mads-Emil becomes more and more desperate and resorts to sneaky methods to get the pill in Karla. Meanwhile, Bjørn tries to balance the accounts - now that Mads-Emil has been with Karla, he also wants to be with Simone. The situation in the house escalates more and more, and they end up having to call Mikael to help them solve the problems.

It's Karla's birthday, and Bjørn has arranged for him and Karla to go on a romantic fishing trip on Eno's cutter. But when Karla suddenly throws up in the middle of the morning fun, Mads-Emil and Simone have to go in their place. While Mads-Emil and Simone find love again at sea, Bjørn and Karla try to find out what's really wrong with Karla, because they don't really think it's just food poisoning - they think she's pregnant.

Mads-Emil's masculinity is put to the test when Simone is visited by his former art teacher - the big and very confident - Fridtjof. While Mads-Emil does everything to not let his jealousy run away with him, Bjørn fights his own battle. Because it may well be that Karla is pregnant and that everything is happy - but he still hasn't given her an orgasm.

Simone has gone, and Mads-Emil is not himself. While Mads-Emil tries to catch Simone's attention with one desperate post on Instagram after another, Bjørn and Karla go to Thisted hospital to get the first glimpse of their little baby. An unexpected visit from Mikael makes them realize that their partner-swapping experiment might not have been just a harmless game - it wasn't just about orgasms; it was about life and death.
