When a lover's suicide begins to look like a murder, a problem's here. Nestor Bukowsky has lost his job, wife, home, the police are after him.

Why does Tichý want to stop the investigation? Bukowsky and Kunes want to solve the case quickly and return to their old lives. Another dead man definitely ends their wishful thinking.

Bukowsky leaves the circus, the trail leads to Decín. He suspects someone from Edita's schoolmates. But he's being followed as well.

Helpless, Bukowsky asks Tichý, Edita's father, for help. He's strongly rejected and narrowly escapes death in the harbor. A coincidence?

Bukowsky's back in a prison cell, charged with the murder of the stalker. Kunes runs away from his treatment to help him. He stacks Bukowsky away with the circus and he himself sets out to Decín to hunt.

Tichý begins his counterattack, has Bukowsky kidnapped and Miky Lébl with him. They save themselves in the last moment. Kunes and Srnkou put all their eggs in one basket. They prepare a clever but complicated trap. Will it work out?
