Grande is mourning the loss of her fiance while her sister Bella is preparing to be crowned as the new island queen. Yolanda, the wife of a mobster starts an affair with the bartender Simón and suggests to him a devious scheme.

Grande aids the castaway. Paco Aguirre bumps into an old friend on the island. Bella is late for the coronation. Simón simulates an amnesia.

The authorities believe Grande's story and Paco is satisfied. Yolanda tracks down Simón. Canelón volunteers to be Clara Rosa's bodyguard. Bella and Grande get into a big fight.

Grande spends the night with the castaway. Clara Rosa fusses over the arrival of the film director. Maga has a bad feeling. Padre Braulio learns from Bella how the castaway has arrived.

Grande is happy but gets spooked seeing Ernesto's ghost. Otilia and Clara Rosa dine with Jacinto. Flores decides to teach Dionisia a lesson. Bella gives the castaway more than clothes and food.

Grande is looking for a new dress at the Gamboas. Simón is on a bus to the airport but the vehicle is stopped by the police. Otilia lectures Clara Rosa. Maga advises Lorenzo to stop with the booze.
