Alice organizes a party to celebrate the golden wedding of her grandparents, Marthe and René. She has a medical check-up, and wonders about her marriage to Pascal. On the eve of the party, Alice receives the results of her tests.

With Alice in hospital, Pascal's friend Paul, a real estate agent, offers him a deal: convince Louis, Alice's uncle, to sell the family farm for a shopping center project, in exchange for a building site.

Marthe is upset about the illness of her granddaughter Alice. As always, she wants to look after her and take care of everything. Marthe feels remorse when Alice talks about her father whom she never knew. Secrets from the past emerge.

Life on the farm is becoming more and more difficult economically. Adèle urges Louis to sell. Torn between his wife and the guilt of abandoning his family who have run the farm for generations, Louis faces a difficult choice.

While she has never really taken care of Alice, Jeanne finally has the opportunity to get closer to her daughter and resume her role as mother, and will do anything to save her and their relationship. But Alice struggles to forgive her.

Mathieu is worried about his mother. When he learns that Jeanne is looking for Alice's father for a possible transplant, he is determined to help her find him.
