The retired French detective, now living in Amsterdam with his family, comes to the aid of an Englishman searching for his missing niece - who has been drawn into drugs and prostitution through her involvement with a Romanian gangster.

Baptiste discovers Edward isn't who he says he is and tracks down Natalie. But his attempt to conceal the truth from Edward has tragic consequences for which he holds himself responsible. Baptiste heads to London to find Edward's ex-wife.

Julien discovers the real reason behind Edward's involvement forcing him to take drastic action to protect his family. A Europol officer takes an interest in the case.

Baptiste confronts Martha about the secret she has kept from him and goes in pursuit of the money. Genevieve coerces Edward to meet Constantin, only for him to ruin her plans by taking matters into his own hands.

The hunt is on for Edward, who has fled back to England. Meanwhile, Julien and Genevieve conceive an audacious plan to turn Constantin and bring down the Brigada.

Edward deals with the aftermath of a murder. Baptiste doesn't know who to trust, believing that the level of corruption runs deep after an attempt is made to kill Genevieve and himself.
