Aria thinks the just because her daddy is the Mayor of Austin she can rule the school. But when she is challenged by her new English teacher, Aria quickly learns that high school is easier to conquer with all kinds of friends.

When Ms. Jones forces Aria to work in a group with girls she doesn't know, Aria decides to take the challenge and comes up with an amazing project to show Ms. Jones what it's really like to be uncomfortable. As Aria is pushing the girls out of their comfort zone, she realizes she's having a fun time meeting new people.

Aria finds a flyer for the upcoming student election and decides to run for President of her freshmen class. She's feeling pretty confident that nobody will run against her, until it appears her boyfriend Mason isn't necessarily feeling the same way. Not only does Aria need to convince Mason she'd make a great President, she also has to deal with the wrath of her mean older sister Abigail who absolutely does not want Aria to run for office.

Aria is excited to be the only student running for president of her class. That is until Ms. Jones has everyone write an English assignment about why they would make a good president. Aria is not happy about this one bit, especially since several of the students have some really good ideas. It's possible Ms. Jones might get one of them to challenge Aria and run against her. Could this ruin Aria's chances to become president?

Now that Ms. Jones talked Maxwell into running for class president, Aria needed to find a way to help get people to vote for her instead of Maxwell. She and Brooke came up with the idea to throw a pool party and invite her class in order to get them to vote for her. It seemed like all was going well, until Aria's big sister Abigail showed up and tried to stop the party. Will this ruin Aria's chances to become president?

Aria is realizing quickly that Maxwell is gaining more friends after his decision to run for president against her. She needs a plan and asks Brooke and her new friends to help come up with some slogans and meet at her house for a poster party. Aria's big sister Abigail finds this out and again tries to stop Aria from running. But after the two sisters talk it out, Abigail might have a change of heart. Let's see who is really on Aria's side.

Aria is desperate to win the upcoming election and gathers her new friends for a poster party at her house. She's hoping this will do the trick to beat Maxwell. Meanwhile, Maxwell is making new friends and opens up to Noah and Jacob about his reasoning to run for president. Just as Aria is feeling confident, she gets a surprise visitor and needs to deal with some drama before she can move forward.

The election results for Freshman Class President will be announced and finally we'll discover if Aria or Maxwell will be the winner. Aria has been working so hard to plead her case to her freshman class and really wants to win the election to show her daddy that she is just like him. She's really trying to seek his approval, where Maxwell is trying to get into a good college by becoming the president. There is a twist at the end which you won't see coming.
