Nick and Suzanne argue about whether to keep Nick's last name or Suzanne's.

Nick wants a new sports utility vehicle, but Suzanne refuses, saying that there's no room in the budget, so he goes behind her back to check his credit score. Meanwhile Nick and Kevin compete through video games.

Suzanne decides that she needs more time to herself, but she has nothing to do with her free time. Meanwhile, Nick introduces the kids to his mom, Marilyn.

Nick decides to bond with Kevin over soccer. Meanwhile Suzanne finds Lindsey's lack of face-to-face communication strange, so she creates a fake social media profile to spy on her online life.

Kevin's weird best friend, Troy, brings over a pet rat that Kevin keeps and lovingly calls 'Whitey' - unfortunately Whitey escapes into the house, and Nick is terrified of rats.

Nick goes to a pirate-themed "sexy restaurant" without telling Suzanne. Meanwhile Lindsey and Kevin bug her about wanting more of an allowance.

Suzanne dances in her underwear to a rap song in Kevin's bedroom while doing provocative poses - unaware that Kevin had been talking on a video-chat service with his friend Troy, and that the webcam was left on by mistake.

Suzanne won't allow Lindsey to order a sweater online, so Lindsey asks Nick to buy it for her instead. Meanwhile Kevin pretends to be an orphan to raise money for Martin to get a collector's baseball bat.

Nick is reluctant to make love to Suzanne while the kids are in the house, so she assumes he is sleeping around. Meanwhile Martin tries to figure out what age his new adolescent-looking girlfriend is.

Nick arranges a get-together for his friends and family, but things get awkward when somebody from Suzanne's past shows up.
