Detective Hodiak begins receiving packages with photographs of missing girls; Charmain's undercover operation yields valuable information, but it also risks her safety; the Manson family moves into their new home. (#15)

Charlie bonds with a Beach Boy, while Tex joins the Manson Family; Grace and Sam tread familiar territory as Brian takes a stab at a killer and gets rewarded for his sharp work. (#16)

Sam investigates a murder in a black neighborhood on the same day of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination; Kristin's involvement with the Black Panthers divides her and Brian. (#17)

Charles becomes jealous about Dennis and Emma's courtship; Dennis takes Charles and Emma to meet a record producer; and tragedy interrupts when Internal Affairs is investigating Sam. (#18)

While Shafe's addiction problems mount, Hodiak helps an old war buddy find his blackmailer. Meanwhile, Karn gathers information to use against Bobby Kennedy and Grace finds a new love for politics.

Charles and the family receive a blessing and a threat; Grace makes plans for Emma; Sam takes a proactive measure to investigate a new clue in the case of the photographer killer. (#20)

Manson's search for the missing Emma Karn leads him to Hodiak's doorstep and the two spend some unexpected time together. Hodiak pieces together a unique set of clues leading him to some unlikely murder suspects.

Hodiak finds Emma in a sanatorium but will need some help to get her out. Shafe struggles to kick his worsening heroin habit before it's too late.

Ken Karn and Emma come to terms. Emma still wants to find Manson. Hodiak's investigation of the truth behind Bunchy's murder might jeopardize Charmain's career. Shafe runs into an old friend at rehab.

Hodiak gets into trouble again with Internal Affairs, which changes his position in the precinct. Things are looking up for The Family when a music producer arrives to record Charlie's music.

Hodiak's actions get him close to a mysterious serial killer. Charlie has Bobby, Mary and Sadie get money from Gary Hinman.

A newly "retired" Hodiak hunts for the serial killer who's been tormenting him. Charlie sends Tex, Sadie, Emma and Patty on a mission.
