Laura returns to Barranquilla, her hometown, in order to find answers about her father's death. The rainy season has flooded several nearby towns and journalistic coverage of the catastrophe will put it on the trail of dangerous hidden interests.

After catching some kind of virus during her visit to the flooded areas, Laura begins to investigate the clue that Don José left her. His illness begins to obstruct the investigation and Junior recommends an unorthodox treatment that will bring with it a revelation that will change everything.

The revelations of the last few days affect Laura, causing repressed memories of her father's death to resurface in her memory. Advances in the investigation of this young journalist will bring her closer and closer to the truth, but also to the danger.
