In the middle of the night, the RSPCA come to the aid of a dog saved from a house fire. An emaciated racehorse is found dumped in a paddock and given a new lease of life thanks to the RSPCA. Inspectors are called to tiny inner city apartment to remove a large number of cats left by the owner in appalling conditions.

Michaela is helping fifty rescued Brown Pelicans pass their flying test in Florida. And falling temperatures mean rising danger for the animals at Knowsley Safari Park - can the keepers keep them warm? Plus it's touch and go for Oscar the Cocker Spaniel.

A vicious terrier has been tethered under a house for weeks. The Inspectors must try and subdue it and see if it can be helped. RSPCA receive a emergency call to help a cow stuck in a river. The water is rising, the cow is losing energy - and she's just gone into labor. A friend turns informant to the RSPCA when he can no longer stay silent about his housemates neglected dogs.

Inspector Matt French attends to a call about a dog in poor condition. It turns out to be much worse than he ever imagined. A young abandoned cat has been left to fend for itself after it's owner moved house. The RSPCA try to tame and re-home the cat. Several working dogs are found chained up in a tip. The RSPCA go in search of the owner to find out why the dogs were abandoned there.

A man in custody leaves his animals to be cared for by his father. But when the RSPCA finds the animals living in poor conditions they seize them and attempt to re-home them. A goose with an injured foot is on the loose in a suburban park. The RSPCA get a team of people to help them capture the bird.

The RSPCA steps in to re-home an Ostrich who has spent his whole life living in the backyard of a motel in suburban Sydney. When her husband moves out, a woman is left with his Diamond Python. She surrenders it to the RSPCA - but her husband wants it back. In Queensland Inspectors discover a property overrun by puppies who aren't being properly cared for.
