Basma and Jad want to take Ma'zooza's picture, as a surprise for her, but Ma'zooza won't sit still long enough for them to get the perfect shot. It's deeply frustrating.

When Teta Noor finds Hadi's box of childhood stuff, everyone (even Ma'zooza) does an impromptu show-and-tell about their favorite childhood toy. Well, everyone except Jad. He doesn't have his beloved drum anymore, because he forgot it when he left his last home. So, Basma decides to a similar drum for her friend.

Basma and Jad are excited to compete in a cake decorating contest. But when they can't agree on how to decorate their cake, they each go their own way. As the competition escalates, they each get jealous of the other's decorating successes...until they learn how to cope with their big feeling and work together.

Jad and Basma are trying to make a snowman, but somebody keeps taking a bite out of it. They won't give up and they are determined to build their first-ever snowman

Basma wants to show off her new song for Jad, but he's busy. So is Hadi. And Teta Noor. Even Ma'zooza doesn't have time. Basma is so sad to not have an audience that she confides in Abu'l Fihem...who helps her make a plan so that everyone can listen to her great new song.

Jad's Favorite artist will visit the neighborhood, and his enthusiasm drives him to announce that he will paint her portrait. But .. What if the portrait is not good? Suddenly Jad is nervous. How will he be able to draw?

Hadi has a musical performance at the site of a cool ancient ruin, so Basma, Jad and Ma'zooza tag along. But when Jad insists on painting the scenery and Basma insists on singing in the amphitheater, they separate...and then feel lonely.

When Basma and Hadi get to attend a very special dance class, Jad gets jealous - and asks the dancers to help him learn how to dance.

Teta Noor asks Basma to take care of her flower while she's away on a vacation. The flower, however, starts to wilt and it is up to Basma to figure out how she can properly take care of Jouri (the flower).

Jad is afraid to see the doctor for a check-up. After his friends help him manage his fear, he's ready to meet the doctor - and sees that he isn't scary at all.

Basma twisted her ankle and has to stay put all day in order to heal. When her friends have a busy day and can't keep her company, she feels lonely.

Jad has just finished his newest tree sculpture, and he's sure it's his best work yet. But when the wind blows Basma's kite right onto Jad's sculpture, his masterpiece is...ruined. Basma tries to fix it, but that only make things worse and Jad angrier.

Basma's friend, Tonton, is coming to visit, and she can't wait to introduce her to her new friend Jad. But when Tonton and Jad immediately bond over all the things they have in common, Basma feels jealous.

Jad is planning to set the world record for building the tallest tower of toy blocks. But when things go wrong and the tower keeps tumbling, Jad has to deal with his frustration.

Hadi is on a video call with his aunt and uncle, showing them his newest recipe. When Basma and Jad notice, Basma gets excited to be on camera and show her new dance moves and Jad becomes super nervous.

Ma'zooza gets an invitation to visit her cousin in the mountains, and Basma, Jad and Hadi accompany her. But when Ma'zooza sees how high she climbed up the mountain is, she is to afraid to keep climbing.

When Basma goes to her one-on-one singing class with Gargur, Jad feels intense separation anxiety. To avoid feeling lonely, he tries to keep busy and even to play soccer with Ma'zooza, but nothing works. Abu'l Fihem encourages Jad to express his feelings through drawing - and he ends up painting a mural of himself with Basma.

Teta Noor and Hadi are recycling a big cardboard box. Basma and Jad think of wild ideas of how they can use it. (An aquarium. No, a theater. No, a bed for Ma'zooza!) But every time they try to create what is in their imaginations, something goes wrong-it's super frustrating.

Jad misses the cookies he used to eat back home, and is feeling sad. Kaki understands the feeling. He misses a LOT of cookies.

One of Ahlan Simsim's residents made a cool handmade wagon. When Basma and Jad see it, they feel determined to try to build their own.

Teta Noor finds a home video of Ma'zooza, and everyone's excited to watch it. Jad suggests transforming the living room into a movie theater by turning off all the lights. When Basma keeps finding reasons to keep the lights on, everyone realizes that she's afraid of the dark.

Basma is going to be given the Kindness Award by the mayor, which means she has to make a speech. And be in front of a lot of people. AND not trip on stage. It ALL makes Basma nervous

Jad gets a bandana from Basma and is convinced it helps him play soccer better. Before the game starts, Jad can't seem to find his bandana, and so he gets angry, until his friends help him see that he can still play, even without the bandana.

Hadi feels sad because he misses his friends who had to leave early to catch a flight. Basma and Jad try to cheer him up with sweets, jokes and even Basma's tunes, but nothing works. How can they help him through his sadness?

Basma and Jad are doing sand art and Jad is soooo meticulous (and slow!) that Basma decides to play with Elmo and Kaki instead. But when they don't pay attention, don't follow through and don't stick to the rules, Basma gets angry.
