Michael Dierks

Michael Dierks was born on Jul 21, 1970 in Germany. Michael Dierks's big-screen debut came with The Mambo Kings directed by Arne Glimcher in 1992, strarring Dancer (uncredited).

Son of rock producer Dieter Dierks (Scorpions, Twisted Sister) and brother of director and writer Dominique Schilling. Grew up in his father's Music and TV studios near Cologne, Germany (recording place for Stars such as Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, Scorpions and many others). At age 18 he moved to Los Angeles to study acting at the University of California, Los Angeles, USA. After his graduation he returned to Germany and wrote a hit song for the German TV Show 'TV Kaiser' and after a stunning performance was made one of the series leads of the show, which ran for several years and which is known to a whole generation of German speaking fans. He currently lives in London, England.
