Stuntman Jerry Dea Wills was born on January 17, 1947 in Van Nuys, California. The son of veteran stuntman Henry Wills, Jerry was involved with horses since he was a child and later became an expert at performing stunts in various Western films and TV shows in which he had to either fall or be thrown off of a horse. Mainly trained by his father, Wills began his career as a stuntman in the late 1960's. His career as a stuntman and stunt coordinator spanned forty-five years altogether before he eventually retired in 2005. Wills died at age 63 on July 13, 2010 at Sherman Oaks Hospital in Sherman Oaks, California. He was survived at the time of his death by his daughter Cooper, son Gary, and sister Linda.
