Instead of spreading evil curses, Tyrannja and Irrwitzer torment their two pets with silly intelligence tests. This is too much for Maggot, who takes Jacob and Maurizio home with him.

Bubonic makes a deal with a mysterious figure from the Realm of Sorcery to make him an all-powerful magician.

Bubonic and Tyrannia cast a spell one night that causes everyone to move slowly, but only those who were asleep when the spell was cast are affected.
