Full-time housewife Lam Fei and her architect husband Sheung Kim-Hung are a loving couple. They have a 5-year-old son, Kai-Kai. Ever since Lam Fei, aka Multitasking Wife, was a youngster, she has always been a proficient chef.

Lam Fei is very confused as she finds out Kim-Hung is having an affair. She compromises and goes along with her husband when she sees him getting drunk because of business issues. She can only tearfully believe Kim-Hung's promise.

Fung-Wah finds out Kim-Hung has gone to Beijing. Meanwhile, See-Lui finds out a businesswoman by the name of Yan Chenggong, who has undergone some procedure at her husband's health care center, is somehow associated with Kim-Hung.

See-Lui and Fung-Wah suspect Wan-Lap is having an affair. Ho-Tin takes them to the clubhouse in his car to look for Wan-Lap, who is actually having a meal with his family. The meal gathering unhappily ends.

In Beijing, Chenggong uses resuming some project as a condition for Kim-Hung to make his choice. He helplessly agrees to stay. Lam Fei feels sad and hopeless as she has been waiting and there is still no reply from Kim-Hung.

Lam Fei is well received as she shows off her cooking finesse at the supermarket. Wai-Shun uses work as an excuse for fetching her and dropping her off. Ho-Tin slyly approaches Joey to find out Kim-Hung's whereabouts.

Ho-Tin and Kai-Kai are fleeing. Lam Fei and Wai-Shun catch up with them. Ho-Tin pretends to be Lam Fei's younger cousin as he notices Wai-Shun fancies her. Lam Fei scolds Ho-Tin for being a liar. Ho-Tin tells Lam Fei he wants to ask Miss Lui out.

Ho-Tin is unhappy about Melvin investigating him. Melvin even conducts surveillance himself. He is both jealous and envious when he sees Lam Fei, her son, and Ho-Tin are getting along. Melvin runs into his former lover Young Sim at a cocktail reception.

Ho-Tin has created a music video based on a story of Lam Fei thinking of her husband. It has gone viral online. Kim-Hung is very confused as he sees it in Beijing. Fung-Wah is embroiled in a legal battle.

Lam Fei wakes up in the middle of the night and realizes Kim-Hung has returned. She is pleasantly surprised as she can continue to live the happy life. Kim-Hung returns to his former company in the capacity of Yan Chenggong's business partner.

Ho-Tin takes care of Lam Fei's wound while she is fast asleep. Lam Fei is in fact pretending to be sleeping and not aware of what is happening. The next morning, Ho-Tin feels uneasy as Fung-Wah and See-Lui give Lam Fei a meticulous makeover.

Melvin earnestly asks to see Ka-Yee. He also persuades Ho-Tin to continue his medical studies. Father and son have a row as Melvin wants Ho-Tin to leave Lam Fei. Ho-Tin even decides he is going to be self-sufficient from now on.

Young Sim urges Wan-Lap to send her the dancing clip. The chums are sure Young Sim still loves Melvin. Kwan-Ming has made a fund transfer to buy Ho-Tin's car. Meanwhile, Fung-Wah calls Ho-Tin and asks him to repair some lamp.

Ho-Tin has supposedly promised Ka-Yee to escort her to the clinic. He abruptly rushes to the police station to bail So Dip out as he is informed So Dip is arrested. So Dip actually went nuts when she and King-sum had an argument.

Ho-Tin asks Melvin about Lam Fei's chance of winning Jinggang Tower project. Melvin reveals everything has been arranged. Ho-Tin promises Lam Fei he is going to be a diligent person from now on.

Both Fung-Wah and Kwan-Ming are drunk and get sent home by Ming-Shun. Kwan-Ming sobers up and then sends a message to Fung-Wah to say he is sorry. The duo get along better than before.

Kim-Hung returns to Hong Kong and plans to make up with Lam Fei. He wants Melvin to help him reinstate his marriage and make Ho-Tin disappear. Wai-Shun tells Lam Fei Lady Mui wants her to participate in another project.

Chenggong reckons both Kim-Hung and Jinggang Tower project are within her grasp. But she does not know Ho-Tin and Kwan-Ming already have some deception scheme. Kim-Hung suddenly shows up and tells Lam Fei she is no longer needed in Jinggang Tower project.

Kwan-Ming leaves Jinggang Tower celebration banquet early as he wants to find Fung-Wah and confess his love. Deep in the night, Kim-Hung visits Lam Fei. Ho-Tin catches up with Kim-Hung and argues with him.

Lam Fei's father Lam Long wants to save his daughter's marriage. He quits his sailor job and returns to Hong Kong. He sneakily goes to the school to fetch Kai-Kai. See-Lui and Lam Fei hurriedly call the police as they wrongly think Kai-Kai has been kidnapped.

Melvin asks Kim-Hung to collect his car. He reminds Kim-Hung to take good care of Lam Fei. Lam Fei has knitted a scarf and asks Ming-Shun to send it to Ho-Tin. Ming-Shun falsely claims Ho-Tin has a new lover.

While Ho-Tin and Lam Fei are having a heart-to-heart chat, Kim-Hung gets jealous and causes trouble. Lam Fei somehow feels excited as the two guys have a row. Kim-Hung returns to his former company office in his capacity as business partner.

While Lam Long is having follow-up medical consultation, he runs into Young Sim and finds out the chums despise her. So he teaches her how to handle her situation by embarking on a mission to gain the trust of everybody around her. Wan-Lap has romantic and career issues.

Kwan-Ming is disgusted at Yan Chenggong's scheme. Kim-Hung also reckons she is a disgrace. Kim-Hung realizes his marriage is unsalvageable and resorts to using legal means to get custody of Kai-Kai. The chums are disappointed that Young Sim is a liar.

Lam Fei urges the chums to look for Fung-Wah as she notices Yan Chenggong is lurking around. Ho-Tin, Lam Fei and Kwan-Ming get on a boat and see Fung-Wah is still in one piece. Meanwhile, Yan Chenggong gets on a yacht.
