Ellen says yes to Tom's marriage-proposal. He tells the boys he wants a simple marriage. She talks about a fairytale marriage with the girls. Steve is in competition with Jörg who wants to use the same subject as his thesis. They have to draw lots to see who can have the subject, but Steve usually loses bets. Now Carlo is gone, Akke makes Birgit partly manager like Carlo was. She's very enthusiastic with her new status.

Tom is nervous to meet Ellen's parents. He has to ask them their daughter's hand in marriage. When they're all at the diner table, Tom can't find his speech. Steve has a basketball tournament, but he also has to finish his thesis. Akke wants to help him and sets up a strict schedule. Zoe wants to make her own clothes, but can't sew. Jasmijn helps her, but it has been a while since she done any sewing.

Steve has problems with Akke's tight schedule. He has hardly time to rest between basketball practice and finishing his thesis. Akke has little time for AKA and Birgit has too much work. She has to hire someone, but all of the applicants seem unfit. Jasmijn has two boyfriends. When she's with one at Steve's basketball game, the other suddenly shows up.

Birgit has a new assistant. Johan. He doesn't know anything about computers and starts to cry every time he does something wrong. She has to fire him, but tries to turn that job over to someone else. Jasmijn suddenly has a CD-player, CD's and a new mobile. She admits to Zoe she steals it just for the kick. Soon everyone knows. Steve is always cleaning up, while Tom and Zoe are the ones who make the most mess. Steve has enough and warns them. Zoe and Tom now follow his guidelines to the letter, which annoys Steve.

Jasmijn gets caught shoplifting. The manager wants her to call her father. She calls Steve like he is her father. He goes with it, but is not happy she uses him. He wants her to return all the things she stole. Akke doesn't want to go on with AKA, because it's not the same without Carlo. Birgit thinks she will get a lot of money when AKA is sold, but Akke has other ideas. Zoe and Ellen try out a face-mask, but Ellen has a sensitive skin.

Mickey has to go to the hospital for some tests. Zoe doesn't dare to visit him, because she thinks she's bad karma. When they finally convince her to visit Mickey, the doctor has bad news for him. Akke has to say goodbye to the era of AKA and it's not easy. Tom doesn't feel good, because he accidentally swapped dip-sauce for depilatory-cream. Steve takes him to the doctor who starts a thorough examination.

At first Akke is excited when he learns Bill Gates comes to Belgium, but when Bill criticizes Borf, he isn't happy anymore. Akke wants to talk to him on the Internet, but for that he has to keep up all night. He drinks lots of cola to stay awake until he's addicted to it. The others force him to kick this habit and lock him in his room. Zoe thinks she attracts misery, because it's going worse with Mickey since she went to visit him at the hospital. Birgit's hormones are working after Mieke was with them for a day. Steve also likes the idea of having a child. They decide to make a baby together, but Steve finds making love without having feelings for each other rather difficult. He comes up with a better plan. Zoe finds a poem in Jasmijn's pocket and wants to know who her lover is. At first she denies having a lover, but in the end she shows him to the gang. It's quite a shock for the rest when they see him. Tom and Ellen both make a wedding-gift-list. Ellen wants all useful things. Tom just wants a big TV.

Mieke's father is going to sue Birgit for child abuse, because she came home in bruises. Birgit is totally surprised and decides to take a lawyer for her own defense. Steve finds out Jasmijn's older boyfriend Danny is married. Steve warns her, but she already knows he's married. Danny just has to divorce his wife and make an arrangement for his children. When they're out on a date, Danny's wife suddenly turns up. Tom has to do a survey to find out about the interests of the youth. He finds it difficult, but Akke helps him with his multiple identities. But the survey ...

Akke's tooth hurts, but he's afraid to go to the dentist. He tries it with one end of a string round his tooth and the other on the door handle. Tom has to write a review about a new video game and tries it out with Steve. Tom loses every time even when Steve isn't even trying. What kind of review will he write? Birgit likes Prosper very much and he her. Prosper invites everyone to his office to try to settle the lawsuit about Birgit's alleged child abuse. As soon as Mieke sees Birgit, she runs enthusiastic to her.

Mickey is busy studying and doing exams. Zoe wants to reward him with two tickets to the MTV-party. She forgets he has different interests and they end up in a row. Steve forces Akke to go to the dentist, because his tooth still hurts. After Akke goes in the chair, Steve also has a check-up. Birgit sees Prosper has cassettes of his old girlfriends in his car. She makes a cassette with music she likes. She thinks he will also like it.

Zoe came back from the party late with some guy. When she goes with Mickey to a for her incomprehensible play, she's home very early. They don't seem to have any interests together anymore. They decide to have a picnic in the park. While Mickey enjoys the scenery, Zoe just sunbaths with her headphones on. Prosper gave Birgit beautiful earrings, but soon she loses one. She tries to find it everywhere. Tom practices for an eating-contest. He uses a bit too much laxative to empty his stomach.

Tom needs to go on a diet, because he can't get into his wedding costume. He tries, but finds it difficult to stick to it. Than he has a different plan. Zoe tries to avoid Mickey. Steve tells her to write down his positive and negative points. This does give her insight in her relationship with Mickey, but not as Steve would have thought. Thieves target the neighborhood. Akke makes an alarm system of his own. Now they're all afraid of walking through the house, because they don't know where the traps are.

Jasmijn discovers Linda moves in with her and her father. She doesn't know if this is good or bad news. Zoe finds it difficult to tell Mickey their relationship is over, but he tells her first it's over. Zoe finds it a bit strange to be dumped. She never experienced that before. Birgit has a new job. Marketing-assistant to Frank Roosen, but she's a bit rusty on the subject. Akke and Tom bought two broken games-machines. Steve doesn't want them anywhere in the house, until Akke fixes one and he secretly plays on it.

Everyone at work thinks Birgit is a marketing genius, while she doesn't know much about it. She makes a report with color graphics. The manager is particular impressed with her graphics and fires Frank Roosen who hired her. She doesn't understand it. Everyone goes with Ellen to buy her a wedding-dress. Even Steve. To his own surprise he very much likes shop-assistant Evita. Tom tries anything to find out what the wedding-dress looks like.

Steve doesn't know what to do with his thoughts about Evita. Zoe recommends asking her on a date to see what happens. He thinks that's the worst idea ever. With Steve suddenly being straight, Jasmijn thinks the rest of the men don't stand a chance. Tom fears he won't get any dates anymore. Birgit doesn't like her job, because she doesn't understand it. Steve accidentally meets Evita in a bookshop. She asks him out. He accepts, but is full of doubts. When she brings him home after their date, she kisses him. Now he really doesn't know anymore. They have a discussion with Marc about religion. Birgit gets a firm-car. A cabriolet. She thinks they're crazy for hiring her. She doesn't know anything about marketing. She wants to go to her boss and tell him that.

Oswald en Jasmijn dare each other to do some very strange things. But when Oswald dares her to go on a free podium, she thinks she can't do it. She can't sing or play an instrument. Steve is very nervous for when Evita comes over. When they're finally in the bedroom, Steve feels he can't go through with it. Birgit is bored and tries out all kinds of new hobbies.

Birgit, Prosper, Ellen and Tom went to a Tibetan concert. Ellen and Prosper loved it, but Birgit and Tom absolutely hated it. Zoe's bike has been stolen. Tom suggests he arranges another bike for her. Oswald tells Jasmijn if she doesn't go to the free podium, she has to walk around school with a big sign saying loser. She asks the rest to help her to form a band, but neither is very good with an instrument or singing. Akke only sees one way to help her and calls Carlo. After Jasmijn's performance, she sees Ellen and Prosper kissing.

Zoe is a success with her friends with the bike Tom got and painted for her. He proposes he gets more bikes, while she sells them and they split the profits. It goes well until Steve asks him where the bikes come from. Tom says he steals them from bike-thieves. Steve wants him to stop immediately. Carlo quit his job, because he found out they were using him to move money from a bank to their own account. All traces lead to him, so he needs a hide-out. Everyone has a lot of fun with Steve's new dry-fit-t-shirt. Carlo is in hiding. Akke wants to prove Carlo's innocence and goes in disguise to the hackers who framed Carlo. Steve arranges Tom's stag-night, but his idea of fun is quite different from the rest of the guys. The girls have a lot of fun in a café. Until Ellen feels guilty. She admits to the others she also has feelings for Prosper.

Birgit is angry with Prosper for deceiving her with Ellen. She breaks up with him. Tom asks why she's breaking up with Prosper. She tells him he has somebody else, but doesn't know who. Ellen is not sure what to do. Should she break off the wedding? Steve is concerned about the Third World and holds a toys amnesty. After some persuasion the rest help him. Zoe notices it's not only the Third World that has problems. This gives Steve an idea.

Steve took in political refugee Latka to give him a taste of what it's like in a Belgium home. He speaks a language the rest don't understand. The only thing they notice, he's scared of knifes and noise. And that with all the hectic in the house. Steve sees Ellen sneaking out of the house. Everybody is studying hard for the oncoming exams. Steve especially finds Zoe annoying, because she has quite a different way of studying than him. Carlo finds out he hasn't long for his exams. He hasn't got any books and Akke has thrown his away, because he knows it all. Ellen wants to talk to Tom, but he doesn't want to see or speak to her. Birgit has a new goal in life. She wants to join the army. But does she know what the army is really about?

Jasmijn is done with her exams. Now she has to choose a subject to study. She comes to two subjects. Actress or biochemist. Zoe wants to impress her examiner by wearing a sexy outfit. But then she gets a big cold sore on her lip. She feels like a dork, but it has consequences she never thought would happen. Akke finds out he missed something vital from his studies and tries to loan Carlo's books. Carlo doesn't want to lend them, because he only has two days to learn the complete course. Steve, Zoe, Akke and Carlo get their exam results back. Steve thinks he made only one mistake on one of his exams, but he got a bad grade anyway. He doesn't understands and goes to his professor for an explanation. Akke is chatting with someone called Maaike. He doesn't know who she is, but she sounds great. When he's in the computer room at school, she's also there. Jasmijn tells her father she either wants to be biochemist or actress. He only hears biochemist and is very proud of her. Akke is nervous to meet Maaike again. In the computer room at school, she asks him out for a drink. When he walks to her, he trips over his own feet, stumbles, falls and in the process pulls her skirt down. They have a lot of fun reading Tom's answers to his Dear Pamela letters. They think that's why he's fired. He wants to show he really can write and starts to work. Birgit has a school reunion. She has to organize it by tomorrow. She asks Steve to pretend to be her steady boyfriend for the reunion. Steve helps her preparing the food, but gets sick from eating from ...

Steve wants everyone to help with the spring cleaning, but they're not very helpful. Akke keeps telling Zoe he has a girlfriend named Maaike. She doesn't believe him and wants him to go on a blind date she arranged for him. Birgit is ashamed to live on welfare. She asks herself why she can't get a job and comes to a remarkable conclusion. Jasmijn found an Ouija board and gets Steve hooked on it. They decide to let Carlo be the medium, because he's the most impartial one. The board gives answers to their questions, but are the answers the truth?

Carlo compares various sizes fruit for the size of Birgit's new breasts. He has his own preferences. Steve tries to talk her out of it, but she's determined. She thinks size it all that matters if she wants a new job. Tom lost his writers inspiration. Steve suggests they all take a walk in the forest so Tom can start fresh again. They all have a lot of fun playing games in the forest, until Tom's run-up to a ditch is too short and he falls in the water. Akke wants to make a special diner for Maaike, because they have been together for 269 hours. Steve helps him, because Akke only thought of very strange recipes. She doesn't really like what he eventually made for her and wants to go directly to the desert. Tom is very disappointed in Norbert after another gig going wrong. Steve pushes Birgit to fire Norbert. She fires him and becomes Tom's new manager. She gives him a new look, new agenda and a new laptop, but she forgot to get him commissions. Steve wants to watch an interesting documentary on TV, but the rest doesn't find it interesting at all. The only thing he can do is tape it and try to watch it later. At least, if nothing gets taped over it in the mean time. Birgit arranges for Tom an interview on a live talk-show on TV. After Tom's interview, Herman Brusselmans is on. He crushes Tom's book. Tom takes revenge and starts a fight on live-TV and pulls Brusselmans wig off which no-one knew he was wearing. This propels Tom's book to be a bestseller and another unforeseen consequence. It's not a secret for long that Tom and Birgit are back together again. Steve thinks Birgit only wants Tom back for his success. Bert doesn't understand why Zoe keeps taking baths with him. Zoe tries everything to get Bert smell better, but nothing seems to work. She thinks they're just playing it, but at the end of the evening they still haven't said anything. Tom's brother Axel arrives and tells Tom he knows a producer who can turn his book into a film. Bert probably didn't understand Zoe dumped him, because he turns up again. Zoe very clearly tells him again it's over. When he keeps calling, they unplug the phone. Axel suddenly turns up. He got a film-producer interested in Tom's book. Birgit is only prepared to give him 5% of the deal. The producer tells them there is no big budget for the film. Carlo and Akke calculate very accurately how much time they lose every down going down the stairs and think of something new. The rest like the new way of coming down, but Akke and Carlo forgot a way to get upstairs again.

Birgit reads an article in the paper saying she's a money-grubber. According to the journalist she chooses money before the arts. Tom thinks it's the truth, but sees no problem with it, but Birgit is angry. She arranges a meeting with the journalist to give him a piece of her mind. When he shows up, she sees he's very handsome. There is something written on the wall in the living-room. They can all smell Bert did it. They decide to change the locks. When Zoe and Jasmijn are shopping, Bert follows them. They realize he's stalking Zoe. Birgit gives her some good advise....

Steve's internship at a school starts tomorrow. He will give physical education to 14 and 15 year old boys. Zoe and Jasmijn look through his schedules and think the kids won't like this at all. They give him advise what would work, but Steve thinks the boys need rules. Carlo tells everyone he will leave the house. When he leaves at the end of the day, no-one really seems to be bothered that much. The next morning he's present at the breakfast table again. Steve feels wonderful after his lessons with the boys. He's now certain he chose the right study. The school director tells him there were complaints about him, because he was seen in company yesterday. Steve thinks it's about his homosexuality and is disappointed. Zoe gets him angry enough through which he goes back to the director. When Steve stands up for himself, it seems the director meant something else. Tom's laptop doesn't seem to work anymore and he asks Carlo to help him. This only makes it worse. Akke changed quite a lot. He's very posh and only listens to the name Berend anymore. At first Maaike is impressed, but it wears off quickly when other women get interested in him and he likes the attention very much. She wants him to turn back to being Akke again, but that seems impossible. Carlo asks himself why Akke can get all the women he likes, while he can't get any. Zoe and Birgit bought the same dress by accident. Zoe is scared she will turn into Birgit.

Carlo and Tom bought a TV-dish which will give them more than 5000 channels. It proofs difficult to find an interesting channel, until they discover a channel with a grazing cow. Birgit finds a letter for her between Tom's mess. It was an invitation for a job interview, but now she's too late. She's very angry with Tom, because she thinks he deliberately kept the letter from her. He hasn't looked through his mail for a long time. Steve makes him see he has to apologize and do something for her. Jasmijn wants to go on a school-trip to Rome, but she needs a lot of money...

Tom wants absolute silence to finish his book, but the rest think he has nothing to say over them. Carlo has a great idea. He wants to put up web-cams in the whole house. The rest think it's a good idea and give him the green light. He puts it on the Internet and it's an immediate hit. They also have a sponsor, so they make some nice money. Until Birgit finds out there is also a web-cam in the bathroom. Jasmijn doesn't like it in Rome at first, until she meets Luca. It seems he's at her school, but she never saw each other before.

Birgit thinks Tom's film script is boring. It needs more spunk. They try to make some scenes look more like scenes from famous movies. Jasmijn is very much in love with Luc. They can't stop kissing, which has physical consequences. Jasmijn's father wants more rent, because he gets more and more bills to pay. They realize Carlo doesn't even pay rent, so if he also pays, the rest will pay even less.

There is a leak in the bathroom that drips down into the kitchen. Just when Carlo tries to take a bath, they decide to turn off the water. Jasmijn's father has to fix the leak, because he's the landlord. He doesn't like it, because it means more costs. Zoe has a job as a dancer in a discotheque. They find out she doesn't wear a lot on stage. Steve thinks she goes too far. Luc wants to stay the night with Jasmijn. She tells her father one evening it's already very late and Luc missed his bus, so it would be better he stayed. He agrees, but Linda knows it's just an ...

Tom's script has been rejected, because the dialogs are unbelievable. He tries new dialogs on the others. Carlo makes a pass on Birgit to help Tom with his dialogs. Luc split up with Jasmijn, because he's scared of her father. Akke tries to predict the future with a ball of cheese. Zoe has to make a choice between her job and her study. Alfons has terrible news for the gang.

They have to evacuate tomorrow and decide to have a farewell-pajama-party. Jasmijn is angry with her father for throwing her friends out. She decides to protest outside the door. The rest remember when they first came into the house. During their last supper Tom remembers something and runs away. The next day is the sale of the house. The new owner is on the brink of signing when Tom literally drops in with some papers.
