Unfortunately he is let down by a series of technical malfunctions.

Boycott: Part 2
S02E02 · Boycott: Part 2

Apr 06, 2012

A compromise seems to be reached when Nick suggests turning the Mecca-facing laundry building into the new mosque and Ian, accompanied by the annoying Siobhan and her unhelpful Christian PR friend, Reverend Richard Salter, puts this to Saleem Ahmed of the Muslim Focus UK group. Saleem however believes that a minaret would solve matters and thankfully architect Mike Whittaker is able to fashion one out of a roof-top heating duct. The crisis is averted and Ian finally gets the keys to his flat but offends Sally in the process.

Clarence House
S02E03 · Clarence House

Apr 13, 2012

Whilst the current problem for the team is the amount of toilets per athlete they must also decide the fate of the stadium post-games. Kay is all for a permanent running track but then West Ham and Spurs begin a bidding war for a new ground. A call from Prince Charles' team at Clarence House to link his mother's half century on the throne with the games yields the snappy term Jubilympics but Clarence House reject it as too backward looking, plumping instead for Jubilee 2012. The prince also comes in handy in choosing which soccer team should buy the stadium - until ...

The Rapper
S02E04 · The Rapper

Apr 20, 2012

The team needs to rely on Juiced,an American condom firm, to sponsor a statue on the site, which involves a sexual health campaign to publicise the company. Siobhan suggests a rapper perform a song celebrating contraception but this antagonises Roman Catholic countries and has to be cancelled. Fortunately office junior Daniel has an alternative suggestion. Less successful is the planning of the journey of the Olympic torch, which involves putting existing towns into other counties.

Catastrophisation
S02E05 · Catastrophisation

Jul 10, 2012

Kay tries unsuccessfully to sell the stadium to Dagenham and Redbridge Football Club whilst Siobhan, with her usual incompetence, suggests rebranding the travel advice guide so that pedestrians can choose their own pavements. Following the confiscation of a starting pistol containing live bullets, Ian meets with police top brass, but, during a demonstration of safety pistols for visiting American security officers, gets shot in the foot.

Fi manages to win over a grumpy trust manager to allow the planting but,as everybody has forgotten to bring the acorn, they have...

Loose Ends
S02E07 · Loose Ends

Jul 24, 2012

At an eleventh hour meeting Kay faces opposition to her plan to have more electric cars than athletes whilst Ian discovers that the planned firework display could potentially set off ground-to-earth missiles.
