Hattie juggles working on her script and trying to develop a relationship with Ida B. Nia starts her first day on Cocoa's Butter. Marie begins to question her relationship with Chuck.

Ida B. gives Hattie harsh notes on her script. Idina invites Hattie to her writing group. Nia rebrands her social media by posting the life she wants. Marie grows distant with Chuck and closer to Quintrell and Zach.

Hattie starts training for her new job at BDE, and a GIF of Nia's as Valentia goes viral. At Chuck and Marie's engagement party, Marie connects with Zach and Chuck reconnects with an old flame.

Marie and Chuck go to premarital pastoral counseling, Chuck comes out as bisexual, and they decide to explore outside of the relationship. Hattie confronts Ida B. about their relationship. Nia gets verified on social media.

Hattie sets boundaries with Ida B. after a public rejection. Marie considers a new approach to filmmaking with Quintrell's movie. Nia hits the red carpet with Ben.

Hattie takes a chance with Idina. Nia's attachment to social media threatens to spoil her real-life connections. Chuck explores his sexuality.

Hattie throws a wrench into Marie's getaway plans when she brings a plus-one to Moondance. Nia mulls over a business proposal from Ben. Marie tries to keep it professional with Zach.

Hattie scores a big meeting with a manager. Marie and Zach navigate their increasingly confusing relationship. Chuck begins to explore his newfound sexual freedom.

Ben strikes out on his own after a contentious meeting. Nia offers Marie some advice about Chuck, and a surprise call brings Hattie face-to-face with someone she hasn't seen in years.

Marie struggles to navigate her post-breakup life. Nia reconnects with Tristan and receives a big surprise from Ida. Hattie is taken aback by her dad's all-too-honest stand-up act.
