He Ye reunites with Helan Clan members from his childhood, but one of them is unhappy to find out he is in a relationship.

He Ye is mortified to realize the betrayal surrounding him, and must figure how to move forward with his life and ambitions.

He Ye sets off for the Black Forest in search of legendary beasts. Prince De tries to swindle Yu'er into giving him the glass bead.

Prince He Ge and Prince De scheme together. Sheng obsessively studies the amber begonia so he can reunite with Pan Xi.

Yu'er expresses to Sheng that she wishes to leave the palace, and therefore his side. Yu Ning and Han Jiang question the strangeness of Yishui Village.

Everyone mysteriously disappears from Yishui Village besides Yu Ning, Han Jiang, and Prince Lu. On their own journey out, Yu Ning reunites with an old friend.
