Researchers question why numerous skeletons, found while digging a foundation for a new home in Northamptonshire, have not been discovered earlier.

The team are in a field where moles have unearthed mosaic pieces, suggesting Roman buildings. Is that all to be discovered?

The Time Team head for Manchester England to uncover the oldest cotton mill in the city, the Arkwright Mill. The building is important because Richard Arkwright used a number of cutting edge technologies to drive the mill. To understand the building the team needs to find the position of various steam engines and water wheels. A seemingly easy process is complicated in the knowledge the building was destroyed and rebuilt many times

Wayneflete Tower is typical of the Tudor period but may just be the tip of the archaeological iceberg.

The Time Team head to Utrecht Netherlands to investigate a combined Roman fort and trading center. There main interest is a previously excavated Roman ship. Whats starts as a routine investigation quickly develops into a dig that will forever change what we thought we knew of the Romans and the vessels they sailed in

Saxon pottery has been found in a nearby field, but what was on the hill? And where was the Saxon long house, on the hill or in the current village?

Was there a church or ornate building at Brimham Grange? Around the farm are Medieval dressed stone from a substantial building from late C15 similar to that found at Fountains Abbey.

The team excavate the cite of a fourteenth century castle built by Edward III on the isle of Sheppey.

The team dig a field with flint and chalk just below the surface. They are following John Pull's excavation from 1930's finding Neolithic evidence.

Searching for the chapel of Edward the Confessor in the village where he was born.

Over 3 days, the team dig many trenches in Ffrith, North Wales hoping to find Roman evidence. Ffrith has been dug before and much Roman pottery has been found on the playing field.

The Time Team investigates a mansion in Alfoldean, West Sussex which is a cross between a motorway service center and medieval inn.

Invited by Applecross campsite owner, in 3 days can they find a date for the broch on the ridge. Increasing rain hinders the excavation and survey. Some hardy members of the team camp on site.
