Boris Johnson has several media appearances to discuss the Covid plans as cases continue to rise around the world and the situation worsens in Italy. The cabinet is discussing imposing a lock-down.

Carrie and Boris hold a baby shower at Checkers while the WHO and scientists stress the importance of covid testing. The government imposes a lock-down after a slow implementation of other restrictions.

The situation in nursing homes and hospitals continues to deteriorate and the number of deaths increases. Meanwhile, Boris' symptoms worsen and Carrie suggests that he may need to go to the hospital.

Boris Johnson is taken to St Thomas' Hospital as his Covid symptoms persist. Meanwhile, Guardian journalist Matthew Weaver investigates reports that Dom Cummings has been seen in Durham.

Boris Johnson returns to Downing Street as the government begins to ease restrictions. The Cummings Durham story comes out and forces Dom to address the rule violation.
