A man sporting a tattoo of the Oulu pro ice hockey team is found murdered in Costa del Sol in Spain. Hilkka's peaceful time in Finland gets interrupted when Hilkka's old colleague Luisa Salinás contacts Hilkka and asks for her help.

Andrés Villanueva's visit in Finland gets a new turn when he starts to assist in the investigation. A young athlete Timo gets unwanted information about his health, while an African couple is trafficked to Spain by suspicious people.

Hilkka, Andres and Kimi arrive to Spain. A Finnish entrepreneur couple Sohanna and Petteri have strange connections that raise suspicions. A horrifying discovery makes it clear that the case is bigger than they could have ever imagined.

Chief Coréa's connections start to rouse suspicions. What business could he have with the murdered man and the Finnish real estate agent? Luisa starts a private investigation behind the scenes. What she discovers causes plenty of concern.

Luisa and Hilkka receive a clue that leads to a wide search to locate the suspect. The case seems to lead them in many different directions, and no one is willing to talk. Luisa must face an unpleasant person from her past.

The investigation takes Andrés to Melilla where he used to be an undercover operative. Hilkka and Luisa concoct a plan to force the suspects to make a move. Neither of them has a clue that Hilkka may be in danger too.

Luisa's decisions are questioned, and the chief demands immediate results. Andrés's visit to Melilla provides new information, leading to a dramatic chase. Hilkka must make a tough choice between her career and her private life.

Hilkka returns to Finland, trying to stay away from the investigation. Once the criminals behind the crimes are revealed, the investigators formulate one more plan, and they need Hilkka's help.
