Dani's excitement at being promoted is cut short when Oscar tasks her with the daunting job of hiring her own replacement. Also, Felix tries to plan the perfect surprise after Emily admits she misses England.

Oscar is forced to present his nemesis Rick Eisen with a humanitarian award, while Felix sees Emily at a restaurant.

Oscar and Felix seek advice from a counselor in their building to get over their issues.

Felix takes over the Unger family Christmas traditions when he learns his perfectionist mother will be unable to host Christmas this year.
