Syd and Eddie host a New Year special, paying tribute to 1979's "Year of the Child" by closing with a song featuring children from all over the world. But first, there's a show to do, with guests including Henry Cooper and Cliff Richard.

Syd and Eddie return for a second series with songs, sketches and a new, scantily-clad dance troupe: Foxy Feeling. The run would see them reach their peak of popularity, with around 17 million viewers each week.

Syd and Eddie introduce a show that falls on St. David's Day - will this mean that Eddie can resist stereotyping the Welsh? Also on the show is Eddie's quest to get Syd a catchphrase, and outside filming with the "shopping police".

Syd and Eddie travel into space in their own sci-fi adventure, and become life-sized puppets as they pay homage to Andy Pandy and Noddy. There's also an appearance from Boney M, and a risqué dance routine from Foxy Feeling.

Arguably the most famous episode of the entire programme, as in among the usual musical guests and sketches, the centrepiece is Syd in a boxing match with a live kangaroo.

A special full of Syd and Eddie's daft sketches, including Christmas in Dallas, and "Syddy's House of Horror". Guests on the show are two Scottish singers, who Syd tries to impress - but can he stop Eddie from doing Scottish stereotypes?
