Pite boy Bosse accompanies his father to the Boden trot and becomes skilled at gambling and betting early on. One day he decides to go to Stockholm with his best friend Josh to become a professional player. They embark on the hunt for the big money, terrified of being forced to return to Piteå penniless. At Solvalla, Bosse meets the trotting trainer Gabriella, who gives him a valuable tip. Together with their friend Lars-Erik, they start betting on Oddset. It is now that Bosse discovers that something is very wrong in sports Sweden.

Bosse has been informed that there is match-fixing. Now he and his friends are swept into a shady world of big risks and shady bookmakers. When he takes care of his father's gambling kiosk while the parents go on vacation, he finds a loophole in the state's Tipstjänst routines and gets large sums of money to bet on matches. Then comes the three matches that will give them a million dollar win. At Tipstjänst, the supervisor Therese begins to feel uneasy.

Bosse, Josh and Lars-Erik have six days to collect the money they "borrowed" from Tipstjänst. Otherwise the bubble will burst. Now they have to arrange a lay-up match themselves. Therese at Tipstjänst contacts Bosse's father Gunnar about the delayed payments. Has he noticed that someone plays extra in certain matches? Boss's conscience begins to gnaw. At the same time, he chooses to get engaged.

An unlikely gambling chance appears for Bosse, Josh and Lars-Erik. Three matches with the team Frölunda in the same round. But Bosse wants to know if the players in the team intend to retire. A dangerous game is started where the talk goes and the stakes become breathtaking. In the midst of the turmoil, Bosse and Ylva are planning a wedding.

The scandal is a fact when Expressen reveals that a gambling mafia cheated Tipstjänst. But neither Tipstjänst nor sport-Sverige want to know that matches have been fixed. With the help of Therese, Expressen's journalist has discovered the weather on Bosse. And more dark clouds begin to tower over Bosse's sky.

It boils down to a defamation trial against Expressen's editor-in-chief. Bosse is called as a witness and both Expressen and the prosecutor want to make sure they have Bosse on their side.
