Sezaki Kota is hired as the new doctor for the Kaishin-maru, a traveling boat clinic. However, the next day he falls in love with a woman on a neighboring island and decides to quit his job and marry her.

Kota and crew visit Mioki Island, where Kota meets a beautiful school teacher, Kaoru. The two of them, along with Kaoru's student, Ryo, go on a field trip together, but Kota tries his hardest to turn it into a romantic date.

Perhaps the third time is the charm for Sezaki Kota, when he meets a beautiful and very eager woman on a remote and desolate island.

The chairman's beautiful daughter comes on board the Kaishin-maru to finish her residency as a surgeon, but Mako has a difficult time accepting her.

Dr. Kota is charmed by a popular TV host that comes to the Kaishin-maru to film a television segment. Learning that her father is suffering from a serious illness, Kota tries to help her parents harvest their family owned Mandarin orange orchard.

Mako's friends from her female gang days tag along on Dr. Kota and Mako's home visits. However, Mako makes it very clear to Kota that her friends are completely off limit.

Sezaki Kota's stalker finally shows up on the Kaishin-maru revealing Dr. Kota's real reason for working on board the boat clinic.

Noboru meets up with an old friend on the island. Will he work up the courage to profess his love?

Aoi's younger sister struggles through her pregnancy and failing relationship while Akira tries to remedy the situation in his own way.

Dr. Kota reunites with an old colleague on the island, but discovers that she will be leaving the clinic she poured her whole life into so she can move to Tokyo.

The vice-chairman of the hospital threatens to cut the Kaishin-maru's operating budget. Will Dr. Kota have to leave the boat for good?
