When a routine negotiation goes wrong, Rodger Smith quickly realizes that there is more to the situation than just your average kidnapping and is forced to call on Big O. It's Showtime.

Dorothy is distraught after seeing the destruction of Dorothy-1 and flees the Big O base. She goes to see her father, Timothy Wayneright, as Roger attempts to deduce the girl's true nature.

Mysterious power outages have been happening all over the city. Roger is hired by Casey Jenkins to convince the people that isn't the work of some angry god do he can reactivate the hydroelectric plant.

Journalist Michael Seebach has been missing for three months and his secretary, Angel, hires Roger to find his missing manuscript. However, as Roger investigates, he learns there is more to the reporter than initially presumed.

In East Town, Roger is hired by an elderly and blind woman to find her son before her next birthday. Looking into it, Roger learns that the son died last year, but also that a ghost appears on the riverbank where he died.

Dorothy has taken up the piano and keeps Roger awake with her terrible playing. To get some peace, he takes her to famous pianist R. Instro, whose father, Amadeus, ran a piano bar.

The price of fish has skyrocketed, supposedly due to a titan that lives in the sea. Roger goes to investigate only to bump into Angel. As they explore beneath the water, they discover a city.

A dog suddenly turns into a monster and kills its owners before dying itself. Roger and Dorothy discover an abandoned cat named Pero, whom Dorothy grows attached to.

Beck escapes from prison and manages to get wrapped up in a case that Roger and Dorothy are involved in. Soon even the police get involved and things get even more complicated.

A bomber is planting explosive toys all over town that cause destruction. The city government discusses what to do as a man named Dastun had visions of a ethereal woman in his dreams.

Heaven's Day, the day that the city was founded as well as Dorothy's birthday, is approaching. Roger takes a case to find a Daemonseed, an emerald egg that has wound up with a saxophone player.

Schwarzwald, thought dead, suddenly reemerges piloting a giant robot of his own. Roger and Schwarzwald begin their final battle: Big O vs Big Duo.

An assassin stalks the city streets, leaving only a vague riddle as a calling card. Roger and Dastun investigate the happenings and get a lead that might hold dark secrets and memories long forgotten.
