The Reality Series kicks off with the pilot episode that showcases the regional phases that contestants undergo across 9 provinces in South Africa in this amazing platform called TALENT AFRICA.

After taking a glimpse at the regionals in the East and Pretoria, 3000 contestants who qualified in their provinces from all across South Africa take to the stage at NATIONALS in Johannesburg for a massive 6 Day Event that features guest celebrity judges locally and internationally.

The Joburg National Events comes to a star-struck conclusion as the prize giving and red-carpet showcase event unfolds at the Roodepoort Theatre with hosts Nicho Barnard and Nicola Ashcroft. The contestants from Gauteng who will represent South Africa in New York are announced together with the Overall Winner in the Junior and Senior category who will each receive a fully paid trip to The States.

The team travels with the Team to PE for the second part of the National Event where contestants from the surrounding area's take part in their annual National Event which features Guest Celebrity Judges and Industry Professionals. Over 1500 items will be performed on the stage of the Opera House in PE for their chance to be part of Team SA and to take home the big prizes.

After a spectacular 4-Day event in Port-Elizabeth, the Nationals comes to a conclusion as the winners and special awards for PE are announced. Featuring a special red-carpet showcase event with the hosts, Nicho and Nicola, the rest of Team South Africa that will be representing SA in New York is announced, together with the Overall Winner for Port-Elizabeth.

55 Contestants travel to the city that never sleeps, New York, where fun-filled pleasure, sightseeing, industry workshops, Broadway Shows and the final stage of the competition at Talent America unfolds. South African contestants take the Wyndam New Yorker Hotel by storm as they represent SA on the world stage.

The final episode showcases the highlights of the New York Competition as the 2019 Season of Talent Africa comes to a conclusion. Featuring interviews with the 3 National Winners and a closing statement from the Talent America Directors, the episode also reveals the final results and awards that the South African Contestants wrapped up before heading back to Jozi.
