Buckley and Eddie decide to take a vacation from their hectic life of sleeping 18 hours a day. They buy a trip to Mexico on Louise's credit card but sleep in well past the departure time of their flight. They decide to do everything they were going to do in Mexico, only in Wendell

Buckley makes a rivalry with a developer who is dating Louise.

A tiger escapes from the Wendell Zoo as Buckley's dealing with issues surrounding his masculinity.

Buckley assumes an alias and opts to relocate after finding a man in Louise's bed.

Buckley develops a gambling addiction while trying to win enough money to buy Louise a really nice gift for her birthday.

When Buckley is responsible for Eddie's owner Dan getting hurt, Louise feels sorry for the guy and agrees to spend time with him. Meanwhile, Eddie is off to the Ice Capades on his own. Before he goes he buys an Eddie-look-alike stuffed animal, then puts a Dictaphone in it that spews out edditudes at just the right moments. Pissed, Buckley pushes it under a truck; leaving everyone believing the real Eddie is gone. This proves too much temptation for Eddie, who pretends to be his own ghost when he returns home.
