Grace reaches out to her new charge and stumbles into a terrorist plot, Butch has a secret, and Earl has some sobering words for Grace.

A court reporter everyone knew and liked is found dead, and when the suspected suicide is declared a murder Grace's undercover role is a little closer to home than she'd like. At the hospital, Earl and Grace try to pull her new charge from her coma. Rhetta faces a heartbreaking decision.

When a bomb goes off at Father John's church, the team immediately begins questioning the parishioners, but as attacks continue on Grace's family it begins to seem a little more personal.

Grace and the team try to determine if a home invasion robbery that included rape and murder is part of a pattern or a copycat, and Rhetta visits an evil revenge on Ham when his practical joke misfires.

Grace's new charge regains consciousness, but communication is a problem, and the team investigates the seemingly unrelated killings of multiple cows and a Hasidic Jew.

As the team investigates a horrific rape, Grace is abducted, splintering the investigation and causing Earl to call in reinforcements.

Grace manipulates the first name of her new charge out of Earl, Rhetta deals with a betrayal, and Bobby reaches out to a relative during the team's investigation of the murder of a 99-year-old man.

When Grace's informant tips her to a dead body, the MCU investigates a case that gets stranger with every turn. Rhetta struggles over whether she can trust Ronnie. Johnny tells Grace he insists on meeting Earl.

Father John involves himself in the search for Neely, Butch is unhappy when an ADA returns, and Grace takes an extreme step in order to collar the murderer of a parole officer.

Earl distracts Grace from her investigation into a robbery that became a murder, and his insistence that she make a leap of faith may be her last.

In the immediate aftermath of Grace and Neely's survived fall from the top of a building, Grace, now known as "Angel Cop" by the city, decides to have it out with God once and for all. But a mysterious stranger might have something to say about that. Ham struggles with his father over the fact that Ham is now dating his dead brother's widow. And the squad investigates a deadly mauling by a dog.

As Grace deals with the aftermath of her dramatic fall from a building with Neely, she also struggles with the impending death of her grandfather, GeePaw. Meanwhile the squad investigates a double homicide involving a water dispute between two ranchers, and Rhetta discovers a secret about her daughter.

Grace tries to find out if a childhood friend is really guilty of killing her husband. But the friend isn't interested in Grace's help, which is hard for Grace to accept. The squad investigates the disappearance of a young woman with brain damage. And Grace begins to wonder if Earl has been watching over her since she was a girl.

A murder case surrounding a young rock band reveals a whole new rebellious side of Grace's nephew, Clay. Drug-addicted Neely moves in next door to Grace, while Earl helps her through detox. Also, Rhetta tries to get her marriage back on track with Ronnie.

Grace is forced to answer for herself and face the judgment of a higher court for her life's deeds. But with Earl on her side, she may have a shot at beating the system.

Grace struggles with the burden being placed on her, especially after the family members of a dead rodeo rider bring his body to Grace's house, hopeful that the "Angel Cop" will be able to find out how he died.

Grace is consumed with feelings of guilt after a tragic event.

Grace isolates herself completely from family and friends as she continues to struggle with the aftermath of a tragic event.

After experiencing a major spiritual upheaval, Grace returns to Oklahoma City with a new sense of purpose.
