It's Lenny's last day in the Tall Ship and Eileen wants him out of there quick smart so she can start putting her new plans into action. Lenny deliberately drags his heels to wind Eileen up, but he's also distracted by another matter - Erin Gunn and the money she stole from him. Jimmy finds himself embroiled in Lenny's bid for revenge, but can he persuade his boss to be merciful? Meanwhile, Stevie struggles to recover from the disappointment of losing the pub to Eileen, and Liz and Molly adjust to life as flatmates.

Angus is living with Zinnie and loving it, but a life-changing opportunity for Zinnie threatens to burst his bubble. Can he find a way to hold on to her before he loses her for good? Eileen and Scarlett clash over the plans for the street festival celebrating all things Shieldinch, and Kelly-Marie tries to prove to Alex that she can still work at the club while pregnant.

It's the day of the Shieldinch Festival but the celebrations are cut short by an explosive event that sends shockwaves through the community. Zinnie faces uncertainty over her future with new fiance Angus, and there are new faces in town when the Jandhu family arrives in Montego Street. Ellie's big sister brings her three kids to see their favourite auntie, but what is she really after? Meanwhile, Eileen's love life looks like it's about to be reignited, and Robbie finds himself with a new business rival.

Zinnie and Lenny's lives hang in the balance following the explosion on Montego Street. A terrified Angus is searching for answers as he waits for news about Zinnie's condition, while Bob struggles under the weight of the secret of Zinnie's infidelity. Meanwhile, the community rallies to support each other while they wait for news from the hospital. They'll be mourning someone by the end of the day, but who will it be? Newcomers Caitlin McLean and Dr Annie Jandhu make their presence felt in Shieldinch, in very different ways, and Kelly-Marie receives surprising news ...

Angus continues to struggle in the wake of Zinnie's death, and Bob attempts to rally support with a memorial service to help him say goodbye properly. Meanwhile, Shieldinch's couples are in turmoil. Ellie is faced with a moral dilemma that may rock her new relationship, while AJ and Annie attempt to settle into their new life. Kelly-Marie and Alex prepare for their big day, but with Lenny still in hospital Kelly-Marie is pre-occupied and Alex does something he may come to regret.

It's Kelly-Marie and Alex's wedding day, but an unwelcome visitor threatens to ruin the occasion. Robbie's excessive partying takes its toll, Bob is panicked about his best man speech and Kelly-Marie comes face to face with Alex's secret one-night stand. Will the wedding go ahead? Meanwhile, Annie is making career decisions and reveals the real reason she came to Shieldinch.

As the McLean family continue to struggle financially, a desperate Caitlin hits an all-time low when she's forced to dip into Jenny's savings. It's only a matter of time until Jenny discovers that her money is missing, but will Caitlin be able to cover her tracks before that happens? Could this be the final straw for long-suffering Jenny? Meanwhile, Lenny continues to feel the wrath of Angus and the community in the wake of Zinnie's death, while Robbie's hedonistic lifestyle finally catches up with him. Liz and Molly take a keen interest in Eileen's new business ...

Patrick tries to help Drew by boosting his prospects on and off the football field, but is shocked to learn just how troubled the boy really is. Stevie struggles as Stella continues to shut him out of her life, especially when he discovers the new health battle she is facing alone. Meanwhile, Annie's inherent jealousy of Eileen surfaces, and Kelly-Marie unwittingly plays right into Martina's devious hands.

Stella receives some life-changing news, but with Stevie still in the infidelity doghouse, who can she turn to for support? Meanwhile, Ellie is determined to make things right with Bob, but he has bigger issues on his mind, and Robbie decides it's time to clean up his act.

When things get out of hand, Kelly-Marie decides it's time to make a long overdue call for help. But will it be heard? Meanwhile, Gary and Caitlin put their differences aside as the McLeans celebrate their first Christmas in Shieldinch, and Bob makes Angus an offer he cannot refuse.

The countdown is on as Annie and AJ prepare for their first New Year's Eve party in Shieldinch, but old wounds threaten to ruin the festivities as they are forced to confront their marriage head-on. Caitlin pays the price for an extravagant Christmas when she finds herself short on rent money again, and Bob avoids telling Ellie he's moving in with Angus. A familiar face makes a dramatic return to Shieldinch.

With a mountain of debt to her name and bailiffs at her door again, Caitlin finally accepts that things have to change. An offhand remark from her daughter shames Caitlin into looking for a job, but as she prepares for her first real interview in fifteen years she soon realises it will be no easy task. Has Caitlin got what it takes? Meanwhile, Alex and the Mullens fear the worst when Kelly-Marie is rushed in for emergency surgery, and a reflective Robbie decides whether his heart is still in No.18.

Kelly-Marie remains in an induced coma, oblivious to the fact that her baby was delivered early. As the baby fights for his life, Alex maintains a vigil at his son's bedside, while he and the Mullens wait to see if Kelly-Marie will wake up to meet her son. Meanwhile, Lenny faces his biggest challenge yet when he's left to babysit a mischievous Callum and Madonna, while Stevie and Stella await news from the hospital to find out whether Stella's cancer battle is finally over.
