When our heroes head to Lokar's lair to commandeer his Kairu, Ky accidentally releases the energy... and causes Lokar's lair to explode!

When Zane discovers Lokar's lair in ruins, he concludes that his Master has met his demise... and decides to take his place!

Ky, Maya and Boomer are shocked when a new set of E-Teens, a trio of creepy alien brothers called the Hiverax, appear on the scene.

When Baoddai senses a unique deposit of Kairu energy, he sends Ky, Maya and Boomer to retrieve it... and they end up finding part of a mysterious object called the Kairu Cube!

When Maya has as a scary vision of the future where she sees the Hiverax standing before a shadowy figure that seems to resemble Lokar, she decides not to tell anyone about it. Soon after, Baoddai sends Team Stax on a quest for Kairu. But when they get to the location of the energy, they're shocked to discover not only Team Hiverax there, but also Zane! And though Zane may not know who they are, Hexus, Vexus and Nexus certainly know him... and promptly kick his butt! And when Team Hiverax depart, our heroes hear them say something about "their Master being pleased ...

When shadow Kairu causes villagers to battle one another, it's up to Team Stax to rid the area of the conflict-causing Kairu.

A routine Kairu quest becomes anything but when Team Stax discovers that the Hiverax E-Teens aren't really extraterrestrials... but, in fact, a creation - most likely of Lokar's!

While Ky searches for an antidote to shadow Kairu, Maya and Boomer find themselves in another cube tournament!

Lokar discovers that it is the Hiverax who have betrayed him. The tournament must go on. Ky and Ekayon enter the challenge of a lifetime! Maya and Boomer begin round two.
