The taxi ride ends tragically for the passenger. The driver disappears from the scene of the crime, and the victim is found in an abandoned car. Meanwhile, the Dog gets into the news and becomes a star.

The restorer receives a fake painting and dies of a heart attack. Gnezdilov sets out to confirm his noble origins, and Leonidov begins a parallel investigation.
