Antonio Brando is about to get married, when his cousin and lover Camila suggests a game of dare. Antonio accepts and in the mean time notices the charming Sofía Santana, in charge of the catering for the wedding. Gonzalo, Camila's husband is about to close an important deal with Fernando, the father of the bride. Veronica, Sofía's best friend meets Benny, a member of the band that was hired for the wedding. After Antonio fulfills the dare, Camila suggests a new one, involving Sofía.

Antonio tracks down Sofía and they have their first date. Fernando cuts all business ties with Pedro. Gonzalo can't pay Dagoberto. Rosario is against Antonio. Rocky will suffer a major loss.

Antonio disappoints Sofía with his intentions. Camila plays her double role. Pedro throws Antonio out. Ligia and Carmen want their grandchildren to hit it off. Rocky buries his father and goes to Brando' headquarters. Antonio tries to talk to Sofía.

Sofía has lunch in a very fancy restaurant with Rocky, who acts like a snob. Antonio is interested in a certain real estate property. Ángel arranges a serenade for Rosario with help of the band. Benny has Verónica on his mind. Ángel argues with Alejo.

Alejo falls of the wagon and goes to William. Ligia drops Rusinque on Rosario, again. Benny goes to Brando Constructions to see Verónica. Rosario throws out Ángel, obeying Alejo' demand. Rocky bumps into Pedro and Camila at the jewelry store.

Antonio and Camila make a bet on Rocky' intentions towards Sofía with high stakes. Pedro gives a ring to Verónica and announces to his family his plans. Cristina agrees to a divorce. Sofía is rushed to the hospital and Ligia phones Antonio. Camila accompanies him. Antonio runs into Nani and she has very bad news. Benny finally calls Verónica.

Antonio goes to the hospital to take the AIDS test. Gonzalo is freaked out. Pedro collapses during his special night with Verónica and the police arrests her believing it's a murder attempt. Rocky visits Sofía in order to propose, but Antonio shows up.

Antonio and Cristina discover Pedro' secret from the doctor. Benny stands by Verónica, who is in jail. Daniela accuses Camila of Pedro' condition. Cristina blames Verónica for falsifying a document.
