Grandpa decides to assist Will with one of his magic tricks but it only gets Will into trouble with the officers in base.

The home owned by Will's girlfriend's uncle is not only in the direct path of the Air Force's jet runway, but it's sitting where they want to expand it. He wants to move out and sell it quickly, but Will convinces him to hold out for far more than the Air Force is willing to offer.

After Will bungles an attempt to have the Captain impress his girl, an elaborate plot to get her to believe he's become an important pentagon strategist backfires when Will sends a dummy telegram that implies there's a mysterious "Project X" in the works.

Will finds the jewels that were stolen in his canteen.

Captain Martin is,going up against Krupnick for a promotion and believes having Will in his unit is a detriment. Martin pushes to have Will transferred to Krupnick's group.

Sneed Hathaway is a wealthy army recruit and when Will saves his life, Sneed tissues to show his gratitude with material goods. The sudden gain in riches make Will uncomfortable.

Will volunteers to take part in an Air Force survival experiment being conducted on a tropical island by a lady psychologist.

After Will comes into a large sum of money he decides to remake the barracks into a resort.

Will is put in charge of finding talent for the base talent show.

Will and Ben become participants in an Air Force program to see whether physical fitness requirements should become tougher.

Will is assigned to host a testimonial dinner for Sgt. Martin. But rather than being a stodgy affair Will turns the event into a evening of hilarity.

Will's new assignment is to be the new switchboard operator for the base. Will creates various problems for those making calls.

The Air Force jets are upsetting Grandpa Jim's cows and they are refusing to give milk. Will gets involved in the solution.

At a Chinese restaurant, Will encounters a fortune cookie for the first time, and seizes on its message of warning about his friends' safety as cosmic truth. He proceeds to talk the men and officers into a panic, inadvertently making more dangerous situations. To stop him, even the fortune cookie writer is called in, but he can't be talked out of it.
