Music Voyager visits Lafayette, the epicenter of Cajun and Creole culture. Host, Jacob Edgar, meets up with legendary musicians, Roddie Romero, Terrence Simien, The Lost Bayou Ramblers, songwriter David Egan, and singer Marc Broussard.

Deep inside Shreveport, Louisiana, blues guitarist virtuoso, Kenny Wayne Shepherd introduces Music Voyager to local icons Buddy Flett, Maggie Warwick, and James Burton.

Arriving in New Orleans during the build up to Mardi Gras, Jacob meets with legendary trumpeter Irvin Mayfield, Virtuoso Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews, alongside Jeremy Davenport, Cyril Neville and Galactic, and Kermit Ruffins.

Arriving in Bogota, Colombia, Music Voyager explores La Candelaria with world famous rockers, Aterciopelados. Following this, Jacob jams with up-and-coming rock band, Superlitio, before meeting Fonseca, one of Colombia's biggest pop stars.

Meeting up with some of the world's most famous salsa bands, Grupo Niche and La-33, as well as seeing performances from Grupo Bahia and Herencia de Timiqui, Music Voyager dives into the world of salsa in the city of Cali.

In Medellín, Reggaeton superstar J. Balvin invites Music Voyager to his penthouse for a private performance of one of his hit songs. Later, Jacob meets hip-hop group, Crew Peligroso, and visits Colombia's record label, Discos Fuentes.

Exploring the cutting-edge scene in Bogotá, Colombia, Music Voyager meets up with La Mojarra Eléctrica, before joining British DJ and producer, Richard Blaire, funk group, Systema Solar, and the electro-tropical band, Bomba Estéreo.

Travelling from Valledupar to Barranquilla, the team meets up with superstar, Fonseca, Rey de Reyes, Los Niños de Vallenato, Erika Muñoz, and Colombian legend, Joe Arroyo for his last ever performance.

In the heart of Cartagena de Indias, Music Voyager meets one of the most respected figures in Colombian music, Totó la Momposina. Champeta star Louis Towers performs, and the team meets with Lucas Silva and Charles King.
