Rudy begins training with his new magic tutor and learning swordsmanship from his father. He makes rapid progress, but traumatic memories from his past life leave him too afraid to go outside. Is his second chance already doomed to failure?

Rudy begins to explore the village and rescues a green-haired child from a group of bullies. The two grow close practicing magic, but is there more to Rudy's new friend than he thinks?

The Greyrat family is overjoyed when Zenith announces that she's pregnant with a second child, but the mood takes a dour turn when Lilia reveals that she is also pregnant and Paul is the father. Will this be the end of Rudy's happy family?

Rudy arrives in the city of Roa, where he's supposed to spend the next five years tutoring the daughter of the local lord. His student, however, is more than he bargained for, and he'll have to fight to start his first ever job, let alone keep it.

Rudy is officially Eris's tutor, but she doesn't want to learn anything but magic. As Rudy struggles to get her interested in other subjects, he realizes that non-stop lessons are causing her stress and proposes a day off in the city.

Eris's 10th birthday is fast approaching, and her grandfather has invited nobles from across the kingdom to a dance party to celebrate. There's just one problem; Eris can't dance, and she's quickly losing patience with her lessons.

Rudy reaches his 10th birthday, and Eris and her family plan a surprise party for him. Meanwhile, the strange orb hovering over the city remains a mystery as powerful entities across the world begin to take note of it.

Rudy and Eris find themselves stranded in the wilds of the Demon Continent. Their only chance to survive seems to lie in Ruijerd, a warrior of the infamous Superd Tribe of demons, but can he be trusted?

After Ruijerd, Rudeus, and Eris arrive in Rikarisu, Rudeus hatches a plan to make money economically. The group experiences growing pains.

With their new money-making scheme in place, Dead End head out to track down a mysterious monster. Unfortunately, the job doesn't go as smoothly as they hope, and Rudy's plans may turn out to be a lot less safe than he thought.

Rudies meets a girl with a mysterious eye.

Roxy, Elinalise, and Talhand discuss Dead End and future plans. Rudeus and Eris embark on a voyage to the Millis Continent.

Rudeus is imprisoned in a beast people village for a crime in which he is innocent. Rudeus awaits Ruijerd and Eris to rescue him, however, days pass with no sign of them. The village is attacked, presenting an opportunity for Rudeus.

Rudeus and Eris find out more about Ghislaine and her relationship to the beast people's village. Eris begins to train Tona swordsmanship with the two eventually getting into a fight because of Eris' imminent departure.

Rudeus and his team arrive in Millishion. In the city, he comes across a kid being kidnapped. He follows them and gets into a fight with the kidnappers, but these people are actually involved with someone whom Rudeus knows very well

After having a family squabble with Rudy, Paul kept brooding and drinking. Will Paul's depression and anxieties continue? Or will he have a change of heart and talk to Rudy?

The Dead End party departs for Central Continent. Roxy arrives at Rikarisu and has a chat with her old party member. She visits the Migurd village and meets her parents who tell them how they have been hearing about her from the travelers.

Hitogami appears in Rudeus's dream again to give info about the whereabouts of Lilia and Aisha. Dead End party travel to Shirone Kingdom where Rudeus writes to Roxy and meets Aisha. Rudeus gets summoned to the royal palace to meet Roxy.

Rudeus is in desperate straits, imprisoned in a magic-proof dungeon by a despotic prince. But just when all seems hopeless, an unexpected visitor appears with a strange request. Will Rudeus be able to talk his way out of this one?

Almost at their destination, the Dead End party encounters a mysterious man in the mountains, and things take a turn for the worst.

Dead End arrive in Fittoa and behold the aftermath of the Metastasis Event. Rudeus and Eris come to an understanding.

Rudeus falls into a state of depression, and begins having flashbacks to his old life where severe bullying at school traumatized him into become a social recluse.
