A parachutist collapses on a terrace. It turns out that the parachute has not been opened. Fenna and her colleagues examine whether it is an accident or that there's more. Meanwhile, Fenna worried about her father and arise within the investigation team voltages not remain without consequences.

A young girl is found dead in a forest. She is brought to life with multiple stab wounds. It appears that they have used GHB, but she was not raped. It seems that the offender was disturbed. When the police investigating the case, they discover that everyone has something to hide inside the closed village community.

In a recreational lake a teenage girl is pulled while swimming under water and she will not come up. Her friends turn the police in which a search campaigns. Then comes a message inside that in a nearby lock a body was found. When Fenna and Evert look the found out that this isn't the missing girl, but a middle-aged woman.

A body of man who has come to life by the attack of a dog is found in a moorland. Who owns this dog, and involves this an accident or a purposeful action? Meanwhile, there is an internal investigation conducted of the functioning of Fenna and that puts the focus on the relationships within the team.

If the team is faced with a corpse, it appears impossible to determine the cause of death. The coroner is a mystery. Eventually, the police will have no option but to lure the culprit out of their conference zone.

A sex year old boy runs away from home, leaving his parents desperate at home. A search came to nothing and the police start to worry about the child. The next morning, his teddy bear is found at the home of a convicted pedophile that recently is released.

Prosecutor Jelle van Santen gets late a visits from an intruder, who flees when the six year old daughter of Jelle unexpectedly appears. It seems to be a botched robbery to go, but Carla does not trust it and feel that Jelle is hiding something.

Fenna is not the old, after all the events and her colleagues disagree about whether she is able to do her job properly. While investigating a double murder old frustrations among colleagues stabbing themselves re-emerged and Carla must do everything possible to keep the team together.
