Marc Spector is a former U.S. Marine who also suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), also known as multiple personality disorder. When he becomes the conduit for the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu, his life is changed forever. Moon Knight season 1 stars Oscar Isaac in the titular role. The actor is also known for his performances in franchises such as the sequel Star Wars trilogy and Dune. Having previously played Apocalypse in X-Men Apocalypse, this marks his second appearance as a Marvel character on the big screen. Moon Knight is based on the Marvel comic book character of the same name, created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin.

As Steven/Marc's enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.
