A chance encounter with a former actress leads a well-known radio host to start a fan club for his favorite childhood TV show, but not everyone is as enthusiastic about it as he is.

The arrogance of an old comedian master causes a childish argument over a corn dog, that leads to the breakup between the master and it's assistant, in a roller-coaster of feelings that eventually make the master know a bit of humility.

Shigemi is a real estate clerk who likes to knit sweaters and give them to the men she likes, but the affection is not always reciprocal. The illusions she creates in her mind stop her from seeing true happiness.

A retiring lawyer is unexpectedly reunited with his younger step-brother from whom he had been separated in childhood. Reminicing over a competitive game of Othello, past regrets are addressed, new bonds forged.

It is New Year's Eve, and Master and friends look back wistfully on the passing year, reflecting over soba noodles.
