Graham gets his "crack team" of helpers together (his mum and dad), says goodbye to his girlfriend and heads off to Argentina for the start of his epic World Record Breaking journey.

Graham ploughs head-first into the Caribbean and finds that getting from one island to another without flying is easier said than done.

Graham races from Cuba to Mexico, up through America to Canada, across the Atlantic Ocean on a cargo ship and then visits every country in Europe in record time - all without flying.

With 85 countries down and just 115 more to go, Graham launches head-first into Africa... although the welcoming committee is not quite what he was expecting.

After escaping jail in Cape Verde, Graham now has to escape the island... without flying. He then attempts to race across the 15 nations of West Africa overland, during the wet season.

As Graham hits his 108th country of The Odyssey Expedition, disaster strikes once again: he's striped and thrown into a jail cell in Congo by drunken policemen convinced he's a spy.

Crossing the Congo river into the southern half of Africa, Graham faces challenges from Angola, South Africa, Tanzania and attempts to get all the way to Mauritius in the middle of the Indian Ocean - all without flying.

Graham has to race up East Africa against a ticking clock in order to meet his erstwhile girlfriend before the end of the year at the place they first met - the Pyramids of Giza.
