A gas station worker is fired. Soon afterwards, his boss is found murdered. Lawyer Komikado has to discover the truth, and uncovers irregular behavior by the police.

An obscure rock singer discovers that one of her songs was made into a big hit by a popular TV songstress. She tries to bring a lawsuit against her.

A woman is taken from her wedding ceremony by a man who is either a kidnapper or a former boyfriend. A woman is ejected from a baseball game for her offensive jeering. These are the two court cases for the two-man law firm. At the same time the ace lawyer of the firm is the subject of a documentary.

When the modest residents of the area are confronted with a breach of trust by a large developer which has begun construction in the middle of their neighbourhood against its promise they have no choice but to sue. Unfortunately, the greedy corporation and its lawyer do not care that it will block the sunlight and dreams of the residents . A bigger opponent, however, may be the residents themselves.

Lawyer Komikado is assigned to defend a corrupt politician against charges of bribery.

The "ideal Japanese couple" hate each other, and sue for divorce.

The head of a Soy Sauce company dies. The heirs dispute who is to take over the company.

A very popular and precocious child actress decides to sue her mother as a way of breaking free from the pressure she feels. Her mother's defense lawyer turns out to be none other than Komikado's father, who is barely on speaking terms with him.

A small farming community decide to sue the large chemical company that has built a site near them, which has apparently been polluting the area with toxic chemicals.

The expensive legal team from Tokyo continues to represent the village folk whose watershed and lives have been ruined by the giant chemical company's fourth factory. The townspeople resolve to accept nothing less than a dismantling of the factory and five hundred million yen. The sides are not beyond employing dirty tricks, which have consequences beyond which side wins its case.

As a continuation of an earlier episode where the law firm took on the giant chemical company the lawyers represent the dismissed chemical engineer, but not before a firm and a lawyer switch sides. Not only a few surprises pop up during the proceedings, but several other lawyers become involved as well.
