Lea Ferrera's main dream is to win the World Cup belt in boxing. But the road there becomes life-threatening. After a spectacular victory, Doctor Lea advises against boxing again. Her former manager Balthazar has her in an iron grip. Leas and ex-boyfriend Adrian's son Rocco risks becoming a pawn in a dirty game. Soon, Lea's dark past catches up with her.

Civil investigator Amanda has received tips that Lea's last match was fixed and is starting to investigate her involvement. But Amanda also turns out to have private reasons to take revenge on Lea. Balthazar forces Lea's ex-Adrian to sell drugs to pay off his debt, which turns out to be fatal. Lea notices that something is not right with her body, but she chooses to lie to her doctor.

Lea finally gets her World Cup fight. Amanda has become painfully aware of the forces she has given herself to. At the same time, she herself breaks the law to put Lea there. Adrian has come up with a way to buy himself free from Balthazar, but at the same time it means a terrible betrayal. Lea's coach Sam admits that he went behind her back to save his own skin.

Amanda has tipped the drug cartel about drugs at Lea's gym, but realizes that she made a fatal mistake. Now the police are raiding the gym. The symptoms of Lea's injury are getting worse. At the same time, Balthazar spares no means to get a match between his boxers Janna and Lea. Adrian wants to escape everything and take Lea and Rocco abroad. But Balthazar has time to put his terrible plan into action.

Lea asks Amanda for help finding the kidnapped Rocco. At the same time, Balthazar forces Lea to step up in the match against Janna if she wants to see Rocco again. Lea has a diagnosed cerebral hemorrhage, but has no other choice. It will be a battle against the clock.

The match for the World Cup belt is getting closer. Lea has a deal with Balthazar to be able to go the match and buy himself free from his grip on her, Adrian and Rocco. Adrian pleads in vain that she should refrain from the match. By going up in the ring, Lea risks everything: her health, her family, her life.
