The war between the coalition and the Qin State ended in victory for the latter. One year after the events.

Internal dissension escalates in Qin's court. Ryo Fui's faction does everything to win against that of the king, with some success. Sei Kyou, Ei Sei's half-brother, now seems to be working for the nation's best interests. On the other hand, the state of Zhao goes back on the offensive, against all odds.

Sei Kyou manages to push back Zhao's army, but a little too easily for his taste. He discovers that Tonryuu, the city of his wife Rui, is now administered by Ho Kaku, who looks like an intriguing.

The arrival of the Hi Shin unit allows Heki's army to win the first round of the battle, but it is now a race against time: Shin and Kyoukai must find Sei Kyou as soon as possible, lest the enemy never executes him and never bury the truth about his schemes.

Hokaku and his men have finally caught up with Sei Kyou, who will have to face them alone alongside Shukan. His wife Rui, who has gone to seek help, comes across Shin and Kyoukai.

In order to continue its expansion towards the east, the country of Qin must break a lock on its border with Wei: Choyou, where General Tou will have to face a known figure, Go Houmei.

The battle against the vanguard of Wei's army in Choyou has begun. The general Gai Mou and the strategist Jun Sou leave their camp to observe the situation, but the first one does not resist to the idea to challenge Shin in duel.

Shin and his comrades wonder how to free Ka Ryo Ten, whom they fear the worst will happen to him. Kyou Kai then suggests a prisoner exchange, since she managed to capture Jun Sou, Wei's strategist from Gai Mou.

Ouhon will for the first time face Count Shi, famous for his mastery of the spear. It is in truth him who is at the origin of the conflict which opposed the Dragons of fire of Wei, fourteen years before, for reasons which Reiou will expose.

Ou Hon's strategy seems to be in difficulty on this second day of fighting in Choyou. The fateful date of the third day, when the armies of Ou Hon, Shin and Roku O Mi are supposed to meet in front of the HQ of Go Hou Mei, is coming.

The Hi Shin Unit has only half a day left to reach Go Hou Mei's headquarters. The strategists of both sides, Ka Ryo Ten and Jun Sou, will be able to test their skills.

This is the hour of truth. The three troops of Qin must attack simultaneously the HQ of Wei where Go Hou Mei is. On their success depends the victory of the battle of Choyou.

The battle of Choyou is ending, and Qin will have to decide which move to make before advancing eastward. Ei Sei has a clear idea, but a faction will appear at the most unexpected moment.

The plans of the Queen Mother and her lover Rou Ai soon come to light: the foundation of a new state, within Qin itself. The affront is such that it calls for a response equal to it.

While Shin and Ou Hon are promoted, the state of Ai continues to grow, and this is beginning to seriously worry the capital city of Kanyou.

Minister Ko Reki plots to force the State of Ai to strike Kanyou preemptively, but Rou Ai does not see it that way. The Queen Mother quickly understands that she has been tricked and that she will have to play the strategist again.

While the ceremony of majority and coronation of Ei Sei takes place in the Kinen palace, the army of the State of Ai, led by Rou Ai and the general Han O Ki, manages to cross the gate

While Ei Sei continues his coming of age and coronation ceremony, Shin and his men rush to Kanyou to intercept the rebel army. The latter sends a detachment to nip the threat in the bud.

While the battle of Kanyou is already underway, Shin and his men arrive and discover to their horror that the gates of the city are already open.

While Shin's troops enter Kanyou to protect Ei Sei's children, Ei Sei, still in the ancient capital You, has a meeting with his rival Ryo Fui. It is time for each of them to explain their vision of the world and their plans.

Ryo Fui continues to expound his vision of the ideal government to the state of Qin, while the fighting continues outside and inside Kanyou. On his side, Shin tries to reach the inner palace in order to save Ei Sei.

The race is on between the supporters of the Ai State, who are hunting down the children of Ei Sei in order to eliminate them, and the troops of Qin, who are doing their best to stop them.

Outnumbered, Shou Hei Kun and his troops will try a daring maneuver to neutralize the Duke of Juuteki.

As the rebel army flees north and tries to return to the state of Ai, news of their defeat reaches Ryo Fui and Ei Sei, who are still in the city of You. The consequences will be absolutely major for the future of Qin.

The Queen Mother continues to plead for clemency for the two children she had with Rou Ai, but circumstances are unfavorable for her cause.

Qin goes right back to the battlefield; Wa Lin is asked to help the troubled nation of Chu.
