At the same time a fire breaks out, and remembering his earlier promise to the local thug, the doctor sets out where his ingenuity and skills are just in time and quite handy. With Saki's help the doctor tends to the patients amidst a raging fire all around, but he has left a disappointed prostitute behind all the same.

The rogue samurai disappears after taking a tumble and he is feared dead. Finally, the clan lord is unhappy with the fate of his pending marriage.
