The body of fisherwoman Marie-Anne Pellat is found on the beach. She apparently fell off her fishing boat by accident, but coroner Marvaud confirms murder as cause of death and her missing boat must be located as crime scene. The brigade discovers that financial problems haunted her and several suspects, including her husband Daniel, are investigated. When the ship appears on high seas, the initial investigations point to a fight for controlling the smuggling of bluefin tuna.

40-year-old veterinarian Alain Leclerc is found murdered at his workplace, the Montpellier Aquarium. At the beginning of the investigations, Léa and Paul realize that he was fighting for the custody of his children with his wife, so that his death would be the result of a family drama. But there were also some discrepancies between the methods he used on the aquarium animals and those of one of his colleagues.

After an adventure activity with work colleagues, Corinne Godard, 35, is found hanging in her garden; the scenario rules out suicide and the investigations point to her ex, Bastian Leclerc, who worked at SudImpress company with her, until a rightsizing policy by new manager, David Vicaire. Corinne suffered from stress: her ex was harassing her, David had fired her sister Delphine for robbery in a previous work and SudImpress had hidden from Labour Inspectors an accident in which Jimmy Lecame, one of the workers, lost a hand.

The body of a young woman in a wedding dress is discovered at the bottom of a well. The autopsy reveals that she has been dead for three months. After investigating, Léa and Paul manage to find their identity: it is Audrey Filièrs, a 24-year-old Canadian, who had disappeared on her wedding day.

While visiting some caves highly appreciated by speleologists, a group of tourists discover a woman lying in a cavity where descents are usually made. When they get out of the caves to the surface to ask for help and the police manage to reach the place, the body has disappeared. Apparently the woman is Lina Bernard, a professional speleologist and it seems unlikely that she has had an accident.

A woman is found dead in the vineyards on the foot of Pic Saint-Loup. She lived with her new partner, an oenologist. The brigade finds out that she had remarried her ex-husband, a few days before the murder but had kept it a secret to all her friends, relatives, and of course her new partner.

At the millenary university of Montpellier, a professor suddenly collapses, has hallucinations and all the symptoms of the plague, a disease that has no longer existed for more than 100 years could but that could make him die.

The burned corpse of a man appears on the Maguelone peninsula, where firefighters have just put out a fire. The victim is a sculptor who participated in the renovation works of the Romanesque cathedral of Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul.

A fish farm researcher is found dead, floating inside a sea bream study pond The investigation squad discovers she was about to release the groundbreaking results of her investigation and change her life.

The body of a young rugby player is found in the locker room the day after a match. The death of Lucie Vidal, star of the women's team, seems related to the past of her father, Alain Vidal, former glory of the French rugby team and who had been linked to doping.

A woman is found dead without Id next to the Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert bridge, one of the towns on the Via Tolosana on the Camino de Santiago. No one seems to know her, but apparently an escaped inmate has been in contact with the victim for a long time.

Axel Vignot, a famous lawyer, is found murdered not far from a kayak club. During the investigation, Paul questions the victim's twin brother and the captain discovers that the brother has pretended to be his twin.
